Overview
This Privacy Policy explains how reseller.co.tz collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information when you use our website, reseller portal, API, domain services, hosting reseller services, billing tools, support channels, and related services.
We collect only the information reasonably needed to provide domain reseller, hosting reseller, billing, support, fraud-prevention, abuse-response, compliance, and security services. We do not sell personal information.
Information We Collect
- Account and business details such as name, email address, phone number, company name, billing details, account role, and reseller status.
- Domain order and management details, including registrant, administrative, technical, and billing contact information required for domain registration, renewal, transfer, Whois/contact updates, EPP/AuthInfo requests, DNS changes, privacy settings, and registry compliance.
- Hosting reseller details such as domain names, usernames, contact email addresses, package details, usage snapshots, expiry dates, suspension status, and renewal preferences.
- Payment references, wallet top-ups, wallet deductions, invoices, transaction records, refund records, payment status, and related billing metadata. We do not intentionally store full card numbers where a payment processor is used.
- API usage data such as API key identifiers, request timestamps, allowed IP addresses, request paths, response status, and security/audit logs for troubleshooting, reconciliation, fraud prevention, and abuse investigation.
- Technical and security data such as IP addresses, browser or device information, session data, login history, cookies, error logs, and activity logs used to operate and protect the platform.
- Support, abuse, and compliance communications, including messages, attachments, evidence, troubleshooting details, and records of actions taken.
How We Use Data
We use data to create and manage reseller accounts, authenticate users, process domain and hosting orders, manage renewals and transfers, maintain billing records, provide support, send service notices, detect fraud, investigate abuse, enforce our terms, comply with registry and legal requirements, and protect the security and reliability of the platform.
We may also use aggregated or de-identified operational information to improve service reliability, troubleshoot common issues, plan capacity, understand product usage, and improve reseller workflows.
Domain Processing And Registry Data Sharing
Domain registration data may include names, organization names, postal addresses, email addresses, telephone numbers, country, state or region, city, postal code, nameservers, IP addresses for glue records, domain status, expiry dates, and technical metadata required by registry systems.
Some registry or Whois data may be published, escrowed, validated, retained, audited, or disclosed according to registry rules, ICANN policies where applicable, local domain-extension rules, dispute policies, law-enforcement processes, or abuse-handling requirements. Whois privacy or redaction may not be available for every domain extension or every data element.
If you submit customer data through the platform or API, you confirm that you have provided appropriate notice to your customer and have the necessary authority or consent to submit that data for domain processing and related registry services.
Retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide services, maintain accurate billing and audit records, comply with tax, accounting, legal, registry, security, dispute, and abuse-response obligations, and resolve support issues. Retention periods may vary by data type and service.
Some domain, transaction, audit, security, and registry-related records may need to be kept even after an account is closed, a domain expires, or a service is cancelled, especially where required for compliance, fraud prevention, reconciliation, or dispute handling.
Security Protocols
We use administrative, technical, and operational safeguards designed to protect information and API keys, including access controls, encrypted credential storage where appropriate, audit logging, account authentication, secure session handling, and limited internal access based on operational need.
No online service can guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your passwords, devices, API keys, integrations, allowed IP addresses, and customer access controls secure.
Your Privacy Choices
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data associated with your account. Some data may need to be retained for audit, billing, registry, tax, legal, fraud-prevention, security, abuse-response, or dispute-resolution reasons.
For domain contact data, some corrections, deletions, redactions, or privacy settings may need to be processed through registry systems and may be limited by registry rules, domain-extension policies, verification requirements, dispute requirements, or applicable law.

For reporting phishing, malware, spam, impersonation, trademark abuse, illegal content, security incidents, or any form of platform abuse, please contact our team with detailed evidence. We may use and share relevant information with resellers, customers, registries, hosting providers, infrastructure providers, security vendors, law enforcement, or rights holders where reasonably necessary to investigate and respond.
